About Our Logo
The T. Barnabas Kane & Associates logo is a classical seven-circuit labyrinth taken from a second-century B.C Cretan coin. Dating to more than 4,000 years old and found the world over, labyrinths are geometric archetypes with universal meaning. They mirror the relationship of people to environment, the part to the whole and other principles of sacred geometry fundamental to our ecological design process.
Labyrinths appeal to the intellectual, intuitive and creative in human consciousness. When we create landscape and architectural projects, we experience the design process on all these levels. The labyrinth in our logo expresses our interpretation of this experience.
